 Space systems Command’s newly rebranded and expanded Commercial Space Office (COMSO) is focused on facilitating commercial technology transfer at the speed of need to enable “fight tonight” capabilities.
 Col Troy Woodard, USAFSAM commander, answered questions from the audience during the SpOC Missile Community Cancer Study town hall. Members of the audience were able to have their questions and concerns addressed during the town hall which was held virtually and in person.
 Lt Gen Stephen N. Whiting delivered opening comments during the Missile Community Cancer Study town hall. SpOC’s leadership team is committed to keeping uniformed and nonuniformed Guardians and Airmen informed on this important issue. Their health and well-being is paramount.

 The Benefield Anechoic Facility recently tested its first space satellite in decades. Anticipated to launch in late 2023, Navigation Technology Satellite-3 (NTS-3) will be the Department of Defense’s first experimental, integrated navigation satellite system in nearly 50 years.
 The largest anechoic test facility in the world, the BAF, provides shielding effectiveness that allows GPS tracking and jamming tests without frequency management or regulatory agency approval.
