Schriever SFB to be home of Space Base Delta 41 Published June 16, 2025 By Space Operations Command Public Affairs PETERSON SPACE FORCE BASE, Colo. -- U.S. Space Force’s Space Operations Command will stand-up Space Base Delta 41 in an official ceremony June 18, 2025, on Schriever Space Force Base. SBD 41 will be led by U.S. Space Force Colonel Eric D. Bogue and will be responsible for combat support, combat service support, weapon system infrastructure, and installation support to space operational missions at Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado, as well as assigned geographically separated units at Ka’ena Point Space Force Station, Hawaii, and New Boston SFS, New Hampshire. The growing scope and importance of space operations to national security and the increasing demands in the space domain have clarified the need for dedicated, day-to-day focus and stewardship on combat support, combat service support, weapons system infrastructure and installation support at each of SpOC’s main operating installations. This requirement drove the need to realign Schriever SFB’s operational support from SBD 1 to enable optimized mission readiness.
