USSPACECOM Hosts NATO Supreme Allied Commander for Transformation

Members of USSPACECOM conducted space threat, space operations, space plans/policy, and commercial space briefings with the visiting members of SAC-T. USSPACECOM, in collaboration with mission partners like NATO, continues to provide space domain awareness for warning, assessment, and attribution.

Members of USSPACECOM conducted space threat, space operations, space plans/policy, and commercial space briefings with the visiting members of SAC-T. USSPACECOM, in coordination with Allies, the Joint force, and inter-agency partners, conduct combined space operations to protect our combined interests in the domain.

Currently, SAC-T is overseeing the establishment and accreditation of NATO’s Space Centre of Excellence, to be opened in Toulouse, France, which will establish a bridge between NATO and all relevant international space organizations. USSPACECOM conducts combined operations with NATO to deter aggression in the space domain.

NATO’s SAC-T is responsible for leading the warfare development of NATO military structures, forces, capabilities, and doctrines, and most recently has overseen the establishment of NATO’s Space Centre of Excellence. When opened, the centre will provide knowledge, analysis, and products covering three operational functions – space domain awareness, operational space support, and space domain coordination – while stimulating space expertise sharing and interoperability amongst allies and partners. USSPACECOM conducts combined operations with allies and partners to deter aggression in the space domain.
