GPS Celebrates 30th Anniversary at Schriever SFB
SCHRIEVER SPACE FORCE BASE, Colo. -- U.S. Space Force Sgt, Khiry Loyd, GPS maintenance noncommissioned officer in charge, 2nd Space Operations Squadron, gives a briefing to local and federal civic leaders during a visit in recognition of the unit's 30th anniversary operating the Global Positioning Satellite constellation. The event, held at Schriever SFB, CO on 9 December, 2023, allowed the visitors to tour the facility and to gain insight into the history, operations, and impact the global utility has made on the world.
