GPS Celebrates 30th Anniversary at Schriever SFB
SCHRIEVER SPACE FORCE BASE, Colo. -- U.S. Space Force Col. Andrew Menschner, Commander, Precision Navigation and Timing Delta (Provisional), introduces local and national civic leaders to the Global Positioning Satellite System during their visit to the operations floor of the 2nd Space Operations Squadron at Schriever SFB, CO. The purpose of the visit was to recognize the unit's 30th anniversary of operating the GPS constellation. The GPS system serves as a global utility for precision navigation and timing.
