Kenneth S. S. Montgomery Mr. Kenneth S. S. Montgomery is a veteran of the United States Air Force and is currently the Director, Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3), Integrated Tactical Warning and Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) Enterprise and Arms Control, Headquarters Space Operations Command (HQ SpOC/S10), United States Space Force. He provides daily management and oversight of the ITW/AA Weapon System and manages HQ SpOC’s Survivable/Endurable equities, HEMP Hardness Program, as well as implementation of and compliance with all international arms control treaties and agreements. Through the Telemetry Compliance Office at Vandenberg Space Force Base, his directorate also serves as the DAF’s telemetry/treaty subject matter experts during all launch operations for NEW START Treaty accountable items. In his previous assignment as the Deputy to the Commanding General for Transformation at HQ SpOC, he oversaw six directorates: The Chief Data Office, Science and Technology, Military Partnerships and International Affairs, Innovation, Digital Transformation, and Astrodynamics and Operations Acceptance. Prior to his civil service, Mr. Montgomery worked for Miracle Systems, Inc., providing Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Program Element Monitor and Core Function Support Plan (CFSP) support to the Air Force NC3 Center (AFNC3C). Here, Mr. Montgomery was a principal drafter of the NC3 Weapons System Annex to Air Force Global Strike Command’s Fiscal Year 20 Nuclear Deterrence Operation CFSP, helped stand up and formulate the operating budget for the Air Force NC3 Center, and assisted in the management of the NC3 Weapon System’s annual budget. He is also a retired Colonel having served 25 years with the United States Air Force in space and missile operations and was a political-military affairs officer serving tours at the U.S. Department of State and Joint Staff J6. Mr. Montgomery is married to the former Angela Michelle Burrus of St. Clair Missouri. They reside in Colorado Springs, Colorado and have three daughters, Allyson, Meredith, and Jennifer.
