USSPACECOM hosts NATO Supreme Allied Commander for Transformation
U.S. Space Force Lt. Gen. John Shaw, U.S. Space Command deputy commander, speaks with French Air and Space Force Gen. Phillipe Lavigne, NATO Supreme Allied Commander, Transformation (SAC-T), prior to a briefing at USSPACECOM headquarters, Feb. 3, 2023. NATO’s SAC-T is responsible for leading the warfare development of NATO military structures, forces, capabilities, and doctrines. Members of USSPACECOM conducted space threat, space operations, space plans/policy, and commercial space briefings with the visiting members of SAC-T. USSPACECOM, in coordination with Allies, the Joint force, and inter-agency partners, conduct combined space operations to protect our combined interests in the domain.
