PETERSON SPACE FORCE BASE, Colo. -- On April 6, Space Delta 3's Quick Reaction Force summited Mt. Muscoco with a developmental Electromagnetic Warfare system—a 4-mile out and back hike with 1,292 ft. elevation gain.
The Crucible event, consisting of 12 members from DEL 3 and the DEL 3 Commander, served as the final training requirement to join the premier EW team.
During this event, the team transported a 500+ pound system, and setup the system mountain-side, proving the agility and mobility of both the developmental system as well as the QRF team.
The QRF was assembled in September 2022, providing support to Space Systems Command's Rapid Reaction Branch and meeting objectives outlined in Space Operations Command Commander's Strategic Plan.
